This course is designed to teach QA Software Testing concepts. It will cover both manual testing and some automation testing concepts. The course is capable of training novices, beginners and competent level test analysts.
By the end of this training, every student should have a clear understanding of the software testing process and its role in ensuring the quality of software products. It is not expected that you can put all that is covered into practice immediately. It is only our expectation that you are familiarized with the concepts of manual testing. Armed with this information you can probably sit in with a test team and not be totally lost. Another benefit of this introduction is for test analysts that have not done manual testing for an extended period and want a refresher.
Whether you are a novice, beginner, or consider yourself competent in software testing you can benefit from this course. If you are rusty in some areas of software testing you can benefit.
You will be exposed to manual and automation testing concepts. The course includes skill building knowledge about the role of a test analyst. Some of the skills you will learn are: test planning, test case development, test management, SDLC and STLC, Agile and Waterfall methodology models, use of test management tools, and more.
